photoblog image Milky Way

A lot of noise and even light polution, but would love if you all could give me hints to get these kind of shots better.

Unfortunately, the EXIF data got corrupted  so I cannot remember the settings.  It was taken with a Canon 7D MkII * 18-55mm kit lens (Focal length: 18mm).  If I can remember correctly, it was taken with a shutterspeed of approx 15 seconds.

Nice to see another post from you, Ferdinand! This is really beautiful! I certainly wouldn't think I could improve upon your image - and it's been a while since I've tried any night photography... but looking back in my files - My best were taken at 15 seconds, f2.8, 60mm with 800 iso. I believe I'd used these settings after reading advice in a photo magazine.
Ferdinand Bronkhorst: It surely has been a while! Thank you so much for your comment. I am going to play with the settings and the next photo will have its EXIF data as my memory isn't always the most reliable
